The UNU edition is based on the logahead beta 1.0 code published under GNU/GPL license. While the original version sticks to the basic functions of a blog (mainly publishing posts and receiving comments), the UNU edition is more enchanted and offers a number of additional features. logahead UNU edition is a one person blogging engine - simple to use but with a lot of features and nice gadgets. If you do not want to fool around with scripts and codes and just want to blog you may want to give a try to logahead UNU edition.
The original logahead limits posts to the use of Textile syntax and just some basic HTML codes. With this feature you can also use all HTML tags (this does not affect the fields for comments). In addition a WYSIWYG editor can be used to enter text.
You can select one of three WYSIWYG editors: conceptRTE, openwysiwyg and FCKeditor. While the first two editors offer basic functions and only are different in the area of preview and tables, FCKeditor is full featured and even includes a file manager for uploading images and other files. FCK is selected by default. You can change the active editor in the settings area of the file full_html_messages.
